IMPORTANT OF MENTAL GAME

Playing golf is not just a skill of swing with straight shot or perfect putt. The one of important thing to consider is how to control and manage the mental and emotional challenges that come up on the golf course.
" today i play very well for the first nine..then when i make a silly mistake at the 10th hole, the rest become worst. everything is not in right. Don't know why but i feel something wrong with me."

" When i play for fun..i can manage to get par easily but when come to tournament i got bad result, my swing is not as what i want"

" When i stress, i cant putt well. My hand trembling"

All of the situation is happen when we cant control or manage our mental game.

With this knowledge, if you really want the best out of yourself as a golfer, and want to be playing to your best possible level, areas that you need to concentrate on to improve your mental golf are:

  • The very first
  • thing you need to do is believe that you can!
  • Detach yourself from what goes on around you.
  • To turn off destructive self-talk and replace it with positive, constructive self-talk.
  • Regulate your highs and lows to stay on your best game.
  • Learn to handle mistakes (which determines how well you'll play).
    Believe that when you train your mind, your body will follow.
  • Be confident in yourself and confident in repeating your swing.
  • Understand the importance of "staying in the moment".
